Description
- The KERN OKO 178 metallurgical microscope is now also available as a complete digital solution in a practical set with the KERN ODC 832 C-mount camera and matching C-mount adapter
OKO 178
- This device is a professional, versatile, metallurgical microscope, which is used in testing metals and analysing surfaces
- The KERN OKO is a combi variant of LED incident illumination and LED transmitted illumination. A height-adjustable 1.25 Abbe condenser which can be centred as well as a field diaphragm for complete professional Köhler illumination are part of the standard version
- An open, mechanical angle table is integrated as standard
- A simple polarising unit (analyser and polariser) is included with delivery

- The universal microscope camera can be used anywhere and can be connected to the microscope as well as to a laptop or PC using the USB cable (USB 3.0)
- Through the proven CMOS technology, in connection with the USB the images are shown quickly and clearly
- These cameras are also ideal for more demanding applications, such as, for example, darkfield, phase contrast and for fluorescence applications
- Your daily work is made significantly easier with the very best synchronisation, a high frame rate as well as stable image performance when used in conjunction with our free PC software, VIS 2.0 PRO or VIS 2.0 LITE
- The power supply is through the USB cable, which means that no additional power supply is required
