• The exchange of data and control commands is optional using up to four interfaces to suit individual requirements: two wired connections (RS-232, Ethernet, USB or analogue module) and two wireless connections (WiFi, Bluetooth)
• Each interface can be set up separately, e.g.:
  - Interface 1 (WiFi): Continuous sending to a PC for documentation of a process
  - Interface 2 (RS-232): Print stable weight
  - Interface 3 (analogue module): Controlling a device when the target weight is reached
  - Interface 4 (Bluetooth): Continuous sending to a tablet to monitor a process
• KERN Communication Protocol (KCP): The KCP permits searching and remote control of the balance using external control devices or computers
• Available as an option with alibi memory for paperless archiving of weighing results. This also means the results of weighings with mandatory verification can be electronically evaluated and processed further
• Platform: weighing plate of stainless steel, painted steel base, silicone-coated aluminium load cell with protection against dust and water splashes IP65

• Note on mains connection: This device is certified for use in hazardous areas in Zones 2 and 22. It is therefore supplied with a mains cable approximately 2.5 m long, with open ends and without a mains plug. The connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with EN 60079-14, for example via a junction box or a control cabinet. A suitable enclosure is required for this within the Ex zone. Alternatively, the connection may be made outside the Ex zone. A standard domestic socket is not intended for this purpose
• Superior display size: digit height 48 mm, bright backlight for easy reading of weighing results, even in poor lighting conditions

Please note for your order

• Only two wired connections (RS-232, Ethernet, USB or analogue module) and two wireless connections (WiFi, Bluetooth) can be used at the same time
• Wired interfaces are supplied without cables. The required shielded interface cable (Ø 3 – 6,5 mm) for hazardous areas must be provided by the operator
• When configuration as the battery-operated variant (KERN YKR-06-EX2, see accessories) is selected, the scale is fully designed for battery operation, i.e. mains operation is no longer envisaged. It is not possible to then convert back to mains operation
• For devices that require verification (conformity assessment according to NAWI 2014/31/EU), please include the verification when placing your order, the initial verification is not possible after delivery. Please inform the full address of the location of use for the initial verification
• It is essential that a verified balance which transfers measurements to external devices using an interface, has an alibi memory . It is not possible to upgrade later.
