Description

• The additional YKR-04-EX2 battery enables continuous battery-operated use of the KERN KXC-EX2 display device and the KERN IXC-EX2 and KERN SXC-EX2 IoT-line platform scales in hazardous areas. The display device or scale must be converted to the battery-operated version with the KERN YKR-06-EX2 factory option beforehand
• Explosion protection: Category 3 battery, suitable for use in zones 2 (gas) and 22 (dust) as per Directive 2014/34/EU
• ATEX class for gas: II 3G Ex ic IIC T4 Gc
• ATEX class for dust: II 3D Ex ic IIIC T80°C Dc
• Protection against dust and water splashes IP65
• The high battery capacity results in very long operating times of up to 160 h
• Attention: The battery may be changed in the hazardous area, but charging is only permissible in the safe area

Please note for your order

• The battery can only be used with devices which have been converted to the battery-operated version with the KERN YKR-06-EX2 option beforehand. It is not possible to then convert back to mains operation
