Standard

EasyTouch: Suitable for the connection, data transmission and control through PC or tablet
Central user administration for KERN EasyTouch functions. Primary master data, for example, first name, surname, image, is stored for a user. Each user is assigned a user role, which has individually configurable permissions in the KERN EasyTouch App. Through this structure you can create standard users, supervisor users, etc. You can log into the KERN EasyTouch App with a user name and a password.
All printed and stored weighing and measuring data is stored in this memory. The data is stored either on the local display device or centrally – for all connected weighing systems – in a server directory (Save-Data Server or Save-Data Cloud). Dynamic data can be recalled and printed out at any time and/or exported as a table.
All stored data is saved in a tamper-proof manner. Changes to master data are also saved in the dynamic data memory in a tamper-proof manner (Data Traceability)

Option

Device qualification: standard-compliant qualification concept, which includes the following validation services: Installation qualification (IQ), function qualification (OQ)
Central data memory function for additional storage of all measuring data in a central, local server directory. This is where measuring data is stored from all weighing systems connected using KERN EasyTouch, as well as all installed KERN EasyTouch functions. The advantage of this, particularly for users with several weighing systems, is having all weighing data consolidated in just one database and only having to search for individual measuring data from different balances in one table. Save-Server data storage is also tamper-proof and cannot be changed.

Description

  • Note: Prerequisite for this set is the basic program SET-01 Base
  • The Take-out function enables defined portions to be removed quickly and efficiently from a source container placed on the balance. The balance provides the user whether a portion has been removed correctly or not, using visual and acoustic feedback. Each correct removal is displayed and stored by the system (“Negative weighing” or “Weighing by removing items”)
  • With this take-out aid, portions can be taken out rapidly and easily. Accurate data storage by the system allows you to see at first glance, how many portions have been taken out and how high the quantity loss is per portion in comparison with the target quantity
  • Colour bar graph: Shows the user clearly and quickly whether the weighing result is below, within or above the tolerance range. The result marker “I” also indicates exactly where the weight is within the tolerance range
  • The target weights of the portions can be entered easily or can be taken from the current weight on the balance and be stored with a permitted tolerance. Using the “Quick keys” 1 to 4, take-out items can be stored and quickly recalled
  • Central master data memory: Take-out objects can be stored in the memory of the system with portion weight, permitted tolerance, ID number, name, image, etc. In this way this data does not have to constantly be entered again, but can be easily recalled from the memory. In the master data memory you can also store a possible tare value for the typical packaging, box or container, which will then be deducted automatically from the weighing result (PreTare)
  • ID security: “ID security” offers the possibility of storing each weighed and stored classification result with a unique ID number (Dynamic Object ID) and an ID name (Dynamic Object Name). The saving process can be triggered on a semi-automatic or fully-automatic basis and always after the load has been taken off the balance and when load is applied again. This means that the user does not have to press any buttons for mass storage operations and can work efficiently
  • Batch description: Each take-out sequence can be stored with customer order name, number and with its own batch number
  • Statistical evaluation: For each take-out sequence the system evaluates the material loss in the sense of a take-out value above the defined target value and displays this both as a total as well as in relation to the individual portion
  • Take-out in pieces: You can toggle between two take-out modes, take-out with weight and take-out using pieces. In mode using pieces, the user can weigh an individual reference weight, let the system calculate this weight or enter it direct. By doing this, the weights are converted into piece-count values

Basic and advanced modes: quick and easy to use in everyday working life

  • EasyTouch is used in many professional applications to support weighing processes. The user's focus is usually on another primary activity – the weighing process is simply an integrated sub-step. This is why it should be as simple, clear and designed for error-free use as possible
  • The so-called basic mode reduces the user interface to the essentials and ensures simple, user-friendly operation. Procedure in basic mode: In basic mode, the user simply selects the desired item, for example by scanning a barcode. The system then automatically performs the assigned function, such as weighing, piece counting, tolerance checks or other specific processes. The data is then saved - that's it. This automated procedure minimises sources of error and significantly optimises the workflow
  • All functions are fully available in advanced mode. It is ideal for experienced users who regularly work with more complex requirements

Options

  • The central data memory function Save Server (SET-10) for additional storage of all measurement data in a central, local server directory. By doing this the measurement data of all connected EasyTouch weighing systems as well as from all installed EasyTouch functions will be stored. A particular benefit of doing this for those users with several weighing systems is that all weighing data is consolidated in just one database and you can search for individual measurement data from several balances in just one table. The Save Server data memory is also tamper-proof and cannot be changed
  • SET-261 Audio Management: With this option, individual voice or sound files can be stored in the system for specific events. As soon as the event occurs, the system plays the individual sound file instead of the standard sound file in this case. In this way, for example, voice output can be stored for workshops for the blind, such as “too light”, “OK” or “too heavy”, KERN SET-261

License information

  • Licensing: One license can be operated on up to four terminal devices (PC, laptop, tablet) at the same time, working independently
  • User: You can store as many users as you need in one license
  • Balances: You can store and operate as many balances as you need in one license
