What is meant with accuracy classes?
Accuracy classes are hierarchically strictly graduated. They have a ratio of 1:3 in which E1 is the most accurate and M3 is the least accurate weight class.
The Accuracy (= tolerance)
The tolerance values indicate the proportion in which a weight can be heavier or lighter than the “Nominal Value”.
In other words, the weight governs accordingly.
KERN weights are manufactured according to OIML (OIML-R 111, 1994) international
recommendation standards for weighing accuracy classes E to M.
